Rare 1960's purple Pierre Cardin midi dress with silver geometric cutout breastplate from the space age collection. Sleeveless dress with medium-length center front slit. Silver-tone sculptural breastplate features curved paneling across neck and open cutout section in center front. Signature Pierre Cardin futuristic design. Fabric contents unmarked; feels like heavy wool with purple lining. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout breastplate. Note that hook-and-eye closure has been added to right side of breastplate to adhere.
