1970's Madame Grès magenta crepe draped top / dress and skirt ensemble. Two-piece ensemble - first piece is a short sleeve fuchsia/magenta purple semi-sheer v-neck wrap top / dress with center front drape in silk crepe. Features built-in waistbelt and single hook-and-eye closure at bust, creating semi-open long pointed front drape when worn. Second piece is maxi skirt of crepe de chine material with moderate back slit and darting at waist. Skirt is in slightly darker purple colorway, with center back zip closure. Set is overall in very good vintage condition with small spot at back right of dress (faintly visible when worn); has been sent to couture cleaner and arrives ready to wear.
