1994 Line Re-Interpreted S/S 1989 Maison Martin Margiela gray skirt suit set. Rare set featuring a long sleeve collared gray blazer jacket with two front button closures and a matching gray maxi skirt with high back slit. Jacket features five contrasting black button closures at wrist and Margiela's uniquely raised curved 'cigarette' shoulder pad detailing at shoulders. Slightly cropped sleeves and horizontal darting below shoulder and at elbow create gathering throughout arms when worn. Skirt has concealed back button closures with visible seaming below knees at front and at low hip in back, creating intentional 'pant-like' silhouette when worn. High center back slit and built-in belt loops. Fabric Contents: 95% Cotton and 5% Elastane blend (lightweight Cotton with slight stretch). In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout.

Marked size IT 40 / US 6. Best fits size US 6. Photographed clipped slightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin. Jacket is designed for oversized fit.
