A/W 1998 Vivienne Westwood black velvet maxi skirt and corset set. Sleeveless black velvet corset with black stretch side paneling, signature built-in boning and back zip closure. Pairs with long black velvet skirt featuring large enamel signature 'Orb' button details at oversized flap pockets at hip. Moderate train with silk ribbon ties at interior to bustle length as desired. Contrasting blush pink interior lining. Fabric Contents: 77% Cotton, 21% Rayon and 2% Spandex exterior with 57% Viscose and 43% P.B.T. lining. Concealed center back zip closure with additional smaller 'Orb' button closure. Similar featured on the runway, with button detail a prominent feature of the show. Top is in very good vintage condition with light wear throughout. Skirt is in very good / excellent vintage condition with light spotting at interior ties (unnoticeable when worn); otherwise new with original Vivienne Westwood brand tag.
