S/S 2004 John Galliano lavender purple bias cut slip gown and slip dress set. Cowl neck gown with high side slit, asymmetrical ruffle details and bias cut construction. Tiered ruffle cap sleeve at right side, and shorter ruffle detail at left shoulder. Semi-sheer outer layer with detached slip that can be styled on its own. Slip is below-knee with lace at side and asymmetrical hemline; fully lined with Silk lining. Both pieces are pull-over with no closures. Fabric Contents (Slip): 100% Silk with 100% Silk lining. Fabric contents removed from exterior dress; feels like 100% Silk (unlined, semi-sheer construction). Similar colors and silhouettes featured on the runway. In very good vintage condition with light wear at hemline (unnoticeable when worn).
