1998 Pierre Cardin white pleated halter top with rhinestone embellished trim. Sleeveless plunging neckline halter top with accordion pleating throughout, featuring silver-tone metallic embellished trim. Low-high construction with longer pointed paneling to front and shorter back paneling. Completely open or semi-open back depending on desired styling: three hook-and-eye closures at back that can be closed as desired. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note. Provenance: This piece is part of a small collection of samples acquired directly from the Pierre Cardin Archive in Paris. This is a one-of-one piece from the maison.
Measurements
One size fits many due to open pleated construction (US 0 - 12 when hook-and-eye closures are closed, or one size fits all if not closed in back). Measurements are taken with hook-and-eye closures closed at back.
Pit to Pit: 15.2" lying flat (30.4" when worn); accommodates up to 21.0" (42.0" when worn)
Waist: 12.8" lying flat (25.6" when worn); accommodates up to 17.5" (35.0" when worn)
Length: 37.6" from nape of neck to longest point of center front hemline; 27.5" from nape of neck to center back hemline
