Pre-Fall 2009 Alexander McQueen by Lee Alexander McQueen purple asymmetrical silk gown. Bias cut silk gown featuring thick cap sleeve on right side and thin strap on left side, with asymmetrical drape paneling at sides that attaches at right side wrist. Note that thin strap is currently tacked, but if tack was removed with tailor, the strap could be removable for one-shoulder effect when worn (interior button closures to detach). Fabric Contents: 100% Silk with 71% Acetate and 29% Silk lining. Concealed side zip closure. Similar seen in the lookbook (Look #8) in maroon colorway. In excellent vintage condition with very light wear throughout. Comes with original brand tags.

Marked size IT 42. Best fits size US 6 - 8 depending on desired fit due to bias cut construction. Photographed clipped slightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin.
Pit to Pit (Bust): 15.0" lying flat (30.0" when worn); accommodates up to 18.1" (36.2" when worn)
Waist: 13.0" lying flat (26.0" when worn); accommodates up to 15.5" (31.0" when worn)
Hip: 16.6" lying flat (33.2" when worn); accommodates up to 22.0" (44.0" when worn)
Length: 72.6" from shoulder to hemline (length adjusts slightly depending on size of wearer)
