A/W 1998 Gianni Versace lilac strapless one-shoulder 'barbed wire' gown. Strapless gown with one right side semi-sheer sleeve. Gathered pleated bust with tiered embellished details featuring 'barbed wire' motif. Built-in corset with boning. 100% Silk (silk chiffon exterior with purple silk lining). Concealed side zip closure. As seen prominently in the ad campaign, and featured on the runway. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout, with original brand tags (retailed for $8,205.00). Comes with Gianni Versace hanger and garment bag. Very minor run at back, and pin-sized hole in back silk (neither are noticeable when worn).
