A/W 1973 Halston iridescent sequin 'cloud' motif gown. Scoop neck cap sleeve light blue floor length gown that is fully embellished with iridescent sequins throughout, featuring white 'cloud' motif throughout. Moderate stretch and concealed side zip closure. As seen in the Met Museum and in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and featured on the runway. In good vintage condition with minor missing embellishments at exterior, very slight seam splitting at interior hemline and zipper, slight spotting at interior (unnoticeable when worn), and faint yellowing at bottom front right side hemline.
Measurements
Best fits size US 4 - 12 depending on desired fit due to stretch construction. Photographed clipped slightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin.
Pit to Pit (Bust): 15.0" lying flat (30.0" when worn); stretches up to 18.9" (37.8" when worn)
Waist: 13.5" lying flat (27.0" when worn); stretches up to 17.0" (34.0" when worn)
Hip: 18.2" lying flat (36.4" when worn); stretches up to 23.5" (47.0" when worn)
Length: 57.3" from shoulder to hemline; approximately 2.0" of hem allowance with sequins
