c. 1994 Geoffrey Beene deep mushroom grey and black 'horsehair' mesh gown. Sleeveless gown with gathered pleated detailing below bust and contrasting semi-sheer black mesh upper. Cross-back straps, semi-open low back and black mesh at hemline with floating, lightweight feeling when worn (due to mesh at hemline and full skirt design). Fabric contents unmarked; feels like soft stretch silk jersey. In very good vintage condition with slight runs throughout (unnoticeable when worn).
