1978 Piere Cardin Héritage light gray tiered pleated tulle gown. Sleeveless tiered pleated tulle gown with built-in semi-sheer pleated tulle cape overlay. Interior ivory crepe material. Features ecru silk ribbon trim and white and pink flower appliqué detailing at bust. Concealed back zip closure. Please note: this piece is not pure white; it is a very pale gray / cool ivory. A rare, documented piece. Provenance: This piece is part of a small collection of samples acquired directly from the Pierre Cardin Archive in Pairs. This is a one-of-one piece. It has a rare Pierre Cardin 'Héritage' label which denotes it was part of this select batch of samples released directly from the maison. In very good vintage condition with wear throughout flower appliqués; has been taken to couture cleaner for full vintage restoration and arrives ready to wear.
Measurements
Best fits size US 4 - 8 depending on desired fit. Measurements are taken based off of interior crepe fabric (no stretch). Photographed with interior dress clipped moderately at waist. Model in studio imagery is 5'6" and wears size US 4.
