A/W 2002 Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche black cutout blouse and velvet capri pant set. Lightweight, semi-sheer long bell sleeve top with cutout ribbon detailing and button wrap tie front. Ties at front connect at side buttons and center buttons to create cutout effect (for ease of wear, note that the longer chain buttons are at center of the chest when worn). Pairs with knee length black mid-rise velvet capri bottoms with ribbon details at sides. Functional side slit pockets. Fabric Contents (Pant): 77% Cotton, 21% Modal, and 2% Elastane blend (slight stretch velvet with contrasting ribbon ties at side). Fabric Contents (Top): 77% Cotton and 23% Silk blend. As seen on the runway (Look #3), featured in the ad campaign, and highly documented in many editorials. Both pieces are in very good vintage condition with light wear throughout; slight clipping indentations at waist of pant and light wear throughout velvet, and very faint spotting throughout shirt that is unnoticeable when worn.
Measurements
Top fits size US 2 - 10 and can accommodate a range of sizing due to lace-up construction. Bottoms best fits size US 10. Top is marked size FR 36. Bottoms are marked size FR 42.
