c. 1953 Christian Dior Haute Couture 'New Look' black and blue voided velvet floral pattern dress. Cobalt blue velvet carnations throughout black silk-satin dress. Short sleeve bateau neckline cocktail dress with extremely rare, signature 'New Look' silhouette. Concealed back zip closure. 'Boutique Christian Dior Paris' Couture label, numbered #149801. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout consistent with age. Note that this dress has been styled with and without crinoline (not provided with purchase) for reference to different silhouette options.
