c. 1997 Jean Paul Gaultier 'JPG Jeans' trompe l'oeil denim bikini with storage bag. Indigo blue bikini with white contrast stitching that creates subtle trompe l'oeil 'denim' effect when worn. Back of bottoms features faux pocket detail to enhance denim motif. String bikini with ties at back and nape of neck at top, and at sides of bottoms. Similar motif featured on the S/S 1997 runway. Pairs with small zip storage pouch that can be worn as bag as desired. Fabric Contents: 80% Nylon and 20% Elastane (soft, stretch material). Swimsuit and bag are both in very good vintage condition with light wear throughout.
