1998 Issey Miyake and Tim Hawkinson 'Guest Artist Series No. 3' Pleats Please pleated eyeball motif sleeveless midi dress. A spectacular piece of wearable art, this dress is in a neutral tan and cream colorway with large, vibrant eyeballs printed throughout. Due to the pleated construction, this dress can accommodate a wide range of sizing. Issey Miyake was inspired by Hawkinson's work on a visit to the United States, and the two collaborated on a series featuring prints inspired by Hawkinson's interpretation of his own body parts. As seen featured on the wall of Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris in 1998-1999 and in the LACMA. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note.
