A/W 1972 Bill Blass burgundy red fully embellished gown with flower rosettes. Sleeveless scoop neck gown with full sequin embellishments throughout, featuring asymmetrical 3D layered flower detail at shoulder (wire structure at interior of flower creates additional dimension when worn). Concealed side zip closure and fully lined. As seen on Anjelica Huston for Vogue's September 1972 issue (photographed by Richard Avedon), and featured on the A/W 1972 runway. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note; loose / missing sequins have been replaced by couture tailor. Purchase includes September 1972 issue of Vogue Magazine.
