A/W 1994 Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld Haute Couture black v-neck mini dress. Rare above-knee sleeveless v-neck dress with black and gold-tone belt, as seen on the runway on Kate Moss. Intricate built-in boning throughout bustier that creates nipped waist corset construction when worn. Removable black belt with gold-tone chain detail belt loop. Functional slit pockets at sides of hip. Fabric contents unmarked; feels like Wool with Silk lining. Concealed double back zip closures at interior corset and exterior of dress, with four snap closures at exterior. Likely the exact runway sample as seen on Kate Moss on the runway; one-of-one Haute Couture piece. In very good vintage condition with faint spotting at right side bust. Bra cups at interior have been removed; new bra cups could be added with tailor as desired. Belt has moderate wear at leather interior paneling (visible when worn reversibly with leather to exterior).
