A/W 1998 Christian Dior by John Galliano metallic silver floral pattern bias cut slip gown with open back. Scoop neck sleeveless gown with silver, gold, and dark gunmetal chain straps and deep, low cowl back (dress weight at back enhances cowl when worn). Lettuce hemline. Metallic woven lurex silk damask fabric with large floral pattern throughout. Fabric Contents: 40% Viscose, 31% Silk and 49% Lurex blend. Concealed side zip closure. Extremely rare gown as seen on the runway (partially visible: styled with jacket). 

In very good vintage condition with very slight spotting at interior and light spotting at exterior that is visible only under certain lighting conditions; two runs at back and single run at front that are visible upon close inspection (blend into pattern when worn); and slight distress to fabric at underarm (reinforced with couture tailor to prevent any potential further damage).

Marked size US 8. Best fits size US 4 - 8 depending on desired fit. Photographed clipped slightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin.
