A/W 1999 John Galliano deep teal bias cut chevron pattern gown. Sleeveless dark blue-green slip gown with cowl neck draped front and back, featuring contrasting chevron pointed patterning that flatters the body when worn (created by alternate sides of same fabric). Double strap can be styled on or off-shoulder as desired; strap at left side is intentionally twisted to add detail when worn. Fitted bias cut construction with full skirting. Fabric Contents: 68% Acetate and 32% Viscose blend. Chevron patterning and bias cut gowns featured on the runway. Similar piece featured in the Met Museum. In excellent vintage condition with extremely minor pulls / snags throughout (unnoticeable when worn unless upon very close inspection).

Marked size US 8. Best fits size US 6 - 12 depending on desired fit due to bias cut construction.

Pit to Pit (Bust): 15.2" lying flat (30.4" when worn); accommodates up to 20.0" (40.0" when worn)

Waist: 13.3" lying flat (26.6" when worn); accommodates up to 17.2" (34.4" when worn)

Hip: 16.5" lying flat (33.0" when worn); accommodates up to 23.5" (47.0" when worn)

Length: 67.1" from shoulder to hemline (length adjusts slightly when worn depending on size of wearer due to bias cut construction); additional 1.4" strap allotment can be taken out with tailor as desired
