S/S 2002 Jean Paul Gaultier ultramarine blue silk gown with cutout back. Sleeveless bias cut gown with triangle scallop ribbon detailing at waist and drape cowl front paneling with long straps at back (can be styled as tie closure at nape of neck for halter construction). Semi-sheer crinkle chiffon and pointed ribbon overlay at bust adds unique texture to the piece. Back is otherwise semi-open with two thin tie closures that create cutouts at lower back, featuring tulip-like detail at end of ties. Fabric Contents: 100% Silk. As seen on the runway on Karen Elson (Look #80). In excellent vintage condition with very light wear throughout.

Marked size IT 44 / US 10. Best fits size US 6 - 12 depending on desired fit due to bias cut construction and tie closures at back that allow for adjustable sizing. Model in studio image is 5'9" and wears size US 0 - 2 (photographed clipped on model).

Pit to Pit (Bust): 15.0" lying flat (30.0" when worn, with back ties at tightest possible measurement); fits up to 20.0" (40.0" when worn, with back ties loosely tied) 

Waist: 11.8" lying flat (23.6" when worn, with back ties at tightest possible measurement); fits up to 16.8" (33.6" when worn, with back ties loosely tied) 

Hip: 17.0" lying flat (34.0" when worn); accommodates up to 23.0" (46.0" when worn)

Length: Approximately 62.0" from shoulder to hemline when worn (length adjusts depending on size of wearer and based off of how tightly back closure is tied)
