A/W 1997 Maison Martin Margiela black wool maxi skirt from bolt of fabric strip at sides. A-line maxi skirt with intentionally raw fringe edges and contrasting white / black 'bolt fabric' stripe denoting "Made in England" and "Super 100's Worsted." Fabric Contents: 100% Wool. Concealed side zip closure and slight slit opening at right side of skirt, with raised seams at waist. Rare skirt with similar seen on the runway (Look #8) in yellow/black colorway. In very good vintage condition with slight discoloration at waistband. Styled with white bra top for e-commerce purposes only; not included with purchase.

Marked size IT 44. Best fits size US 6 - 10 depending on desired fit / placement at hip. Photographed clipped slightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin.
