S/S 1995 Black Skirt Set with Semi-Sheer Paneling

S/S 1995 Thierry Mugler black skirt set with semi-sheer paneling. Long sleeve nipped waist tailored jacket with semi-sheer Nylon paneling at waist and bow detail at center bust, with snap closure and concealed zip closure. Features boning at waist that creates unique structure when worn. Pairs with mini skirt with curved waist paneling that perfectly positions underneath curved segment of jacket. Concealed back zip closure. Fabric Contents: 100% Polyester with 100% Acetate lining and 100% Nylon sheer paneling at waist. As seen on Eva Herizova in the ad campaign, featured on the runway, and included in the 'Thierry Mugler Couturissime' exhibition. Originally issued in the 1992 collection on Connie Fleming. In very good vintage condition with very light wear at interior boning (unnoticeable when worn) and slight wear at hem of skirt.
Measurements
Marked size FR 36. Best fits size US 2 - 4 (designed for nipped waist / corset effect when worn). Skirt is clipped slightly throughout hip on size US 2 - 4 mannequin.

Waist: 13.9" lying flat (27.8" when worn; low rise)
